Over the weekend we were staying in a hotel for my sister’s graduation and boy did I get sick. There were massive changes in temperature this weekend in Williamsburg and I didn’t bring warm clothing. Yet at night, the weather got super hot! Then, my hotel had the dryest, most horrible, crusty air coming out of it’s air conditioner and I felt illness hit me like a ton of bricks overnight. Now I feel like crap. Air conditioners and heaters can be so dangerous for people with extreme vasomotor rhinitis to be around. I need to start avoiding the really crusting unclean ones as much as I can. They have a tendency to blow dust and nasty particles in the air all over your room. Hopefully my Neti Pot will help get me through this. I want this cold to go away and not develop into anything more serious. I’m nervous that my body is starting to resist antibiotics because I get sick so often. Maybe I should look into acupuncture, like one of my readers suggested. I’m just so nervous about having needles stuck into my face and sinus cavities. Oy.
