In the game “Hoopla” by the makers of “Cranium,” there is a more condensed version of the “red” category (trivia, factoid, etc.) that is called “tweeners.” It’s really funny because basically the person doing the “tweener” has to give the guessers a comparison of clues to get the guessers to guess the answer. The format follows a “bigger than… but smaller than…” format. Rule is you can’t use any of the words in the actual answer. It’s a little confusing but here is an example:
“It’s bigger than a rock, but smaller than Superman.” (answer: kryptonite)
“It’s bigger than a bracelet, but smaller than jail.” (answer: handcuffs)
You get the idea?
Can you think of some good tweeners and post them here, with the answers as well if we get stumped?
Here are some of mine:
a) “It’s bigger than a skyscraper, but smaller than New York City.”
b) ”It’s bigger than a candy bar, but smaller than the universe.”
c) “It’s bigger than an eye patch, but smaller than a ship.”
Answers:
a) Empire State Building
b) The Milky Way
c) a pirate
